Brown Rice Puttu – Culinary Uses:
Take 2 cups of The Spice Club Brown Rice Puttu Flour and add salt to taste. Sprinkle water and mix thoroughly with your hand until the texture becomes crumbly and moist.
Add about 1/4 cup of grated coconut to the bottom of the puttu maker mould. Then, add the prepared puttu flour until the mould is halfway filled. Add another layer of 1/4 cup coconut and fill the rest with more puttu flour.
Steam for about 10–12 minutes.
Now your Brown Rice Puttu is ready! Serve it hot with ghee and banana or traditional kadala curry for a delicious and wholesome meal.
