Delivery Coverage

Keralataste proudly delivers authentic Kerala and Indian groceries across the United Kingdom, including England, Wales, and most areas of Scotland.

Please note that deliveries to certain remote locations, the Scottish Highlands, islands, and other restricted postal zones may require additional delivery time and may be subject to extra delivery charges.

If you are unsure whether delivery is available in your area, please contact our customer support team before placing an order.

Delivery Schedule

We aim to dispatch and deliver orders as quickly and efficiently as possible.

  • Orders placed Monday to Thursday before 12:00 noon are typically delivered by the next working day before noon, subject to courier service availability.
  • Orders placed after 12:00 noon may be processed on the next working day.
  • Orders placed on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday are generally processed on Monday and delivered on Tuesday.
  • Deliveries are not made on UK Bank Holidays or other public holidays.
  • Delivery times are estimates and may vary depending on courier schedules, weather conditions, and delivery location.

While we strive to meet estimated delivery times, delays may occasionally occur due to circumstances beyond our control.

To ensure reliable nationwide delivery, we work with trusted UK courier providers, including:

  • DHL
  • DPD
  • Royal Mail

Courier selection may vary depending on the delivery address, parcel size, weight, and product type.

Delivery Charges

Delivery charges are calculated based on factors such as:

  • Delivery location
  • Parcel weight and dimensions
  • Order value
  • Product type

Additional delivery charges may apply in the following situations:

  • The total shipment weight, including packaging, is 30kg or above
  • The total order value is below £50
  • The delivery address is located in Northern Scotland, the Scottish Highlands, islands, or other remote areas

Any applicable delivery charges will be clearly displayed during checkout before payment is completed.

Frozen Product Packaging Charge

To maintain product quality and ensure frozen items remain temperature-controlled during transit, all orders containing frozen products are subject to a £2.99 Frozen Product Packaging Charge.

This charge covers specialised insulated packaging and cooling materials required for the safe transportation of frozen goods.

The £2.99 packaging charge applies to every order containing frozen products, regardless of order value, quantity, or delivery location, and will be automatically added at checkout.

Order Tracking

Where available, tracking information will be provided once your order has been dispatched.

Customers can use the tracking details supplied by the courier to monitor the progress of their delivery.

Delivery Responsibilities

  • Providing a complete and accurate delivery address
  • Supplying a valid contact telephone number and email address
  • Being available to receive deliveries where required
  • Inspecting delivered items promptly upon receipt

Keralataste cannot be held responsible for delays, failed deliveries, or additional charges resulting from incorrect or incomplete delivery information provided by the customer.

Failed Delivery Attempts

If a delivery attempt is unsuccessful because the recipient is unavailable or the delivery address is incorrect:

  • The courier may attempt redelivery.
  • The parcel may be redirected to a local collection point.
  • Additional delivery charges may apply for further delivery attempts.

Frozen and perishable items may not be eligible for replacement or refund where delivery has failed due to customer-related circumstances.

Delivery Delays

While we make every effort to ensure timely delivery, delays may occur due to factors outside our control, including:

  • Severe weather conditions
  • Road closures or transport disruptions
  • Courier network delays
  • Public holidays
  • High seasonal demand periods
  • Industrial action or unforeseen operational issues

Keralataste shall not be liable for delays caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Damaged or Missing Deliveries

If your order arrives damaged, incomplete, or with missing items, please contact our customer support team within 3 working days of delivery.

To assist with our investigation, customers may be asked to provide:

  • Order number
  • Photographs of the parcel and products
  • Details of the issue

We will review the matter promptly and work towards an appropriate resolution.
